Malcolm S Howat joined Howco Group in 1996, working in Scotland and relocating to Houston, Texas in late 1999. By 2001, Malcolm was responsible for group IT systems running essential operating systems, developing information management, software and security strategy. Malcolm has extensive experience of lean manufacturing, working closely with the Baker Hughes lean manufacturing team while based in Houston.
In 2010 Malcolm obtained his Masters in Business Administration, specialising in financial strategy.
